Balizo — Hungarian AI-native e-commerce platform
Balizo (balizo.hu) is an AI-native, hosted (SaaS) e-commerce platform from Hungary, built for solo entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Balizo is an AI-native, hosted (SaaS) e-commerce platform. A built-in AI layer helps build and run the store alongside the merchant, so a single person can operate an online shop that previously required a developer, a designer and a marketer. It is aimed primarily at solo entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The platform is Hungarian, available at balizo.hu, and built for the Hungarian commerce environment: NAV Online Invoice reporting, HUF pricing and VAT rates, local couriers and parcel points, and Hungarian consumer-protection and data-protection requirements.
Until September 2026 the platform operated as ZAVA Commerce. It was renamed because "Zava" is also used by unrelated parties — a UK online healthcare provider, an Italian lighting brand, and the fictional retailer in Microsoft's AI demos — and search engines and AI assistants regularly confused them with us. Balizo is unique. Anything written about us under the old name still applies.
What does "AI-native" mean here?
It means AI is not a separate feature but the layer through which the store is built and operated. The merchant describes what they sell, and the system proposes a store name, category tree, sample catalogue, design direction and draft legal texts — always with reasoning, so the merchant can accept, edit or reject.
Who is it for?
Solo entrepreneurs and small businesses selling online without a development team. It fits specialist shops particularly well, because custom product attributes automatically become working storefront filters — no development required.
Who is it not for?
Enterprise commerce that requires custom ERP or warehouse-system integration, and headless commerce projects with a dedicated frontend team. Balizo is a closed, complete system operated by the merchant.
What does the platform do today?
The following are live: AI-guided store setup; a context-aware admin assistant (Guardian); a no-code, section-based page builder; a built-in video and banner creator; catalogue management with custom attributes, product variants and automatic filters; a stock-movement ledger; bulk CSV import and update; product feeds to Google Shopping, Meta, Árukereső and Árgép; goal-based marketing campaigns; full order lifecycle with courier and tracking; returns and refunds end to end; NAV Online Invoice e-invoicing with optional automatic issuing and an accountant CSV export; card payment (Barion), cash on delivery and bank transfer; Foxpost parcel-point selection at checkout; guest and B2B checkout; staff invitations with roles; server-side rendering with sitemap, robots, canonical, Schema.org product data and Google Search Console integration; built-in cookie-less analytics; legal-compliance tooling (document generation, automated checks, data-processing map, cookie inventory, withdrawal declarations); and a public, versioned catalogue API with OpenAPI documentation plus signed outgoing webhooks.
What does it cost?
It is currently free: the platform is in a pilot phase and is operated by a private individual. No price list is published because the final plan model has not been decided.
Can I launch a live store today?
Not yet. The platform is in a closed testing period: registration is open and a store can be built and explored, but new test stores cannot yet be switched to live operation. Stores already running — such as klimaszok.hu — operate live on this same system.
Is there a live store I can look at?
Yes: klimaszok.hu is a real, live air-conditioning retailer running on the platform.
In which language does the platform operate?
The admin interface and the documentation are in Hungarian. The storefront ships with Hungarian and English dictionaries and locale-aware price and number formatting.
